First of all, visit the Cathedral in Pelplin, the Gothic parish church in Starogard Gdanski and the great castle in Gniew. If you are keen on nature you'll find beautiful forests and lakes untouched by civilization in the south of Kociewie. This landscape remains strongly in the memory of each tourist, especially those who come here from big cities.

KASZUBY

The most scenic area is Pojezierze Kaszubskie with varied landscape of moraines, forests and many beautiful lakes.
The north part of the region is bordered by an extensive seashore with many watery places (spas) and beautiful Baltic beaches. It is worth mentioning places on the Hel Penisula or in the Slowinski National Park, where you can find shifting dunes and visit the heritage park.

ŻUŁAWY WI¦LANE

Pomorze5The region is situated in the old delta of the Vistula (Wisla). Formerly Zulawy - the Vistula plain was a very wet and marshy land, but in 14th century the Dutch turned it into a farmland. Unfortunately, the old wooden windmills are gone but you can still find beautiful houses with arcades, recalling the Dutch origin of these villages. The best places in to Zulawy to start visiting in summer are seaside places like Stegna or Jantar. There is also the historic Sztutowo in this area, where Hitlerites established a concentration camp during the second world war. The most interesting monument in this area is the great Teutonic Knights' Castle in Malbork, which you can spend the whole day visiting. There is a medieval atmosphere in the castle and sometimes you can even feel the presence of a Knight's ghost.
Moreover, the Podwyzszenia Krzyza Swietego Church in Pruszcz Gdanski is worth seeing. It dates from 14th century; or a typical small village church in Kiezmark built in 13th century. In Sztum you can see ruins of Knights' Castle. Besides this, in this town there are many old houses, an evangelical church and  St. Anna's Church at a lakeside protected from ruin in the second world war.
